What we do:
“Facility Manager, I have to sincerely thank you for the privilege of being there with my mum for the last two days.
Spending the entire day with her was an extremely rewarding and enlightening experience -I would actually recommend every family member try it!
The care she receives is second to none- from the reception staff, the activity girls and all the wonderful nurses and carers.
I highly commend the hairdresser- she is incredibly good at her job and transformed Jean for me.
Your maintenance man, the gardeners and the catering staff deserve a mention too for the way they interact with residents.
As overseer of JB’s, they are all a great credit to your management skills and you should be proud of the difference you are making to people’s lives in their latter years.
My mum’s dementia has changed her regrettably, but regardless of the challenges that presents to staff, they put up with all the personality traits she offers, to provide the best care and comfort. She always tells me how much she likes her room and all the staff.
Being in an environment like that all day and suffering the loss of life after building relationships with our loved ones makes you all very special human beings.
I can’t thank you enough and I look forward to returning in December.
Warmest regards – Son of Resident“
